Everyone told me that this would happen someday. I laughed, thinking that neither I or Mr. DD would ever be silly enough to let it happen, but happen it did.
The Prawn has eaten poo.
I am pleased to say that I was not at home when this rather disgusting snack occurred. I was, however, in touch with Mr. DD on MSN. Suddenly a message pops up.
Mr. DD: OMG, OMG, OMG
Me: What?
Mr. DD: OMG, IT'S SO DISGUSTING I DON'T EVEN WANT TO TELL YOU.
Me: What??
Mr. DD: I THINK I'M GOING TO BE SICK.
Me: WHAT??????
Mr. DD: The Prawn just ate her own poo.
Me: WTF?!! How did that happen???
Mr. DD: I changed her and SERIOUSLY, I turned my back for a second and when I turned around, she's all face down in the nappy going NOM NOM NOM.
Me: ........
Mr. DD: Seriously, I thought I was gonna barf.
Me: YOU were going to barf? What about HER???
Mr. DD: I cleaned her up. She's happy as larry.
Me: OMG, that is so heinous.
Mr. DD: I know.
Me: Can you give her a breath mint or something before I come home?

OMG OMG OMG!!!! I have been worried about BG eating the cat's poo out of the litter box, but it never occurred to me to worry about her eating her OWN poo. But of course--babies are so damn stupid, and she already tries to put her hands in it every chance she gets.
GAHHH!!!
My eyes, my eyes!
ha ha that is funny.
my friend videotaped her daugther eating dog kibble out of the dog bowl as she caught her doing it!
oh my god. horrifying.
HILARIOUS. Freaking hilarious. Even better, it happened when you were not home!! Did she get a breath mint?
Yup they do that. In fact my son loved it so much he ate the dogs poo too.
My mom has so many poo eating stories about me it is far from funny. Just think how you'll be able to embarass the prawn someday by sharing this lovely tale!
I am laughing so hard my stomach hurts. Oh sweet jesus! Found you today thank you for this laugh.
Yes...baby eggs has done this too! She often managed to get her feet in it as well during the nappy changes.
I think more babies do this than their parents care to admit. LOL. My son has played with his poo lots of times when he was taking off his diapers a while back. He had smeared it on his face one time and I saw some near his mouth too but I don't know if he actually ate it. My guess is yes but his breath didn't smell like it after I washed him so maybe he didn't. I don't know... but that was VERY gross. It took me hours to clean my carpet and get the twins cleaned up.
I hope that this little poo tasting event doesn't happen again. ;)
