Uncomforting anecdote: my cousin recently got chicken pox for the second time. Because she'd had it as a child it was a while before medical science tumbled to the diagnosis. Initially they thought she had scabies.

According to the BBC site, 1 in 10 cases of chicken pox go unnoticed. She's got a grand total of 3 pox on her back. Let's hope it stays that way!
