T Minus 38EE and Holding

Sorry I haven't been around for a while. Most of my free time has been taken up with finding new and creative ways to scratch my breasts.

This is one of those things that no one tells you about and then when you mention it, they all go, "Oh, yeah! I had that too! It was awful." Thanks for the advance info!

Since puberty wrapped me in it's spotty, hormonal arms, I have never been flat of chest. In fact, I was the first girl in my 4th grade class to sport a training bra, something which got me no end of grief from the male contingent on the playground and the highly juvenile nickname "Mushroom Boobs." which, once started, caught on BIG TIME. (I could have stabbed that little fucker Jason Smith for that, only 2 weeks later, he asked me to go with him) In high school, I was idealized by my less endowed compatriots as fairly shortly after arriving in 9th grade, I became a 36C.

I personally always thought tits were a nuisance. They kept me from doing well in track (which I hated. Too much bounce.) and swimming (which I loved. To much drag.) and I didn't really enjoy having them stared at by all and sundry. (I wasn't an exhibitionist until college when I attended a small, religious liberal arts school where streaking could have been considered for a minor. Religious repression tends to make people want to get naked pretty bad.)

Since getting pregnant this time around, there have been startling developments in the bra department once again, which I expected to a certain point. BUT NO ONE TOLD ME IT WAS GOING TO ITCH SO BAD I'D WANT TO STICK A HAIRBRUSH DOWN THERE AND JUST GO TO TOWN.

I have no earthly idea of my cup size now, but I'm willing to bet it's at least 2 or 3 letters down the alphabet from where I was in June. They are monsters growing from my chest at an alarming rate.

Please tell me they can't possibly get any bigger!

Yes indeed, cup sizes up, and the itch, dammit, the itch!! (The whole development is good from my perspective though... I may even make it to a C cup - whoopee!)

Holy crap! I'm so glad there's someone out there in the same boat. I started as a 36H and Lord knows what I'm at now. The itchy and stretching and fun. Oh my! Good luck, I hope it gets better. I do have to ask though - where do you find your bras?

Yeah...the itching is here to stay I'm afraid. The boob growth, ditto. I've had big boobs since I was about 18 (thanks PCOS-related weight gain!), and most of the time I hate them. However, it was different when I was pregnant. Yes, they were huge, but I felt rather magnificent and fecund for once.

The itching though...seriously, ugh. I always had itchy boobs pre-pregnancy on the odd occasion that I had my period. Trouble was, for my first job in the UK I sat right in front of a CCTV camera. I'm sure I gave quite the thrill to whoever was watching it when my period rolled around as I'd try to slyly scratch them to no avail.

Oh no. I did not know about itching boobs. And itching drives me crazy. I have already grown voluminous boobs (they went up from a 34D to a 36DD by week ten... but I've settled on a more comfortable 38C now) but they don't hurt at all. They hurt less than before I have my period. But itching. I don't think I will be able to bear it (though I have had a tiny bit of nipple itch if I wear a lacy bra and that is AWFUL). When did this horror start?

They're going to get huge! I went into shock when I saw the porportions that my already large chested friends grew to when they got pregnant. We're talking serious Rack Attack! I got kinda giddy in anticipation of some huge boob type action.I sometimes get the A cup blues. Well, my mom told me not to get my hopes up as she experienced the pancake, not mushroom effect!

Hmm, I've heard about this itching before! Haven't experienced it yet myself so far (neither of my pregnancies made it far enough to experience much boob discomfort) but ummmm, no it doesn't sound like much fun at all!!

I hope the itchiness subsides for you soon!

Have you also heard about the ALL OVER BODY itching that some women get throughout their ENTIRE pregnancies though??? That sounds like it would be the WORST!!!

Hope you feel better soon! :)

Nilla,

I HAVE heard of the all over body itch and fevently hope that I do not experience it! I think I would have to be sedated for the remainder of the pregnancy.

brandy- I've been wearing my old bras up until now, but the two maternity bras that I DO have came from Mothercare. I think it's a chain that operates in the US too.

katty- It's only just started in the last 2 weeks or so, but about 16 weeks is when the extreme boob itchiness started!

I hear they do get pretty big, which worries me if I ever get there myself - I am big gal, too. I am glad to know to expect itching, too. Itchy, bulbous sacks on your chest. Sounds like fun!

OH GOD the itching...and the boob-expanding extravaganza.

I SOOO didn't need to get bigger either.

I seriously couldn't sympathize anymore if I tried!
