Dork

Okay. I'm a big doofus.

Little dude or dudette still in there doing their thang. Right size, right place.

I totally owe the tech who came in on her day off a bottle of champagne.

Oh I'm so glad!! I was just getting ready to comment on your last post and send you some good energy, but then you came on with this post of good news!

Sorry I didn't pop in sooner when you could have used the support.

It's just not fair that miscarriage has to be in our lives forever, and changing the way we see everything.

Soooo happy everythings ok!

P.S. You can still keep the good vibes!

Yeah for the little dude/dudette!

An aside...My husband's cousin called her baby the Space Prawn when she was in utero because that's what she thought the baby looked like on the ultasound. I think it's a very funny nickname. I mean, bun, muffin, bean...those are all cute but Space Prawn is Funny!

That is fantastic news!!! That tech is awesome, wish she worked at my practice. Piece of mind has got to be sooooo wonderful. Hope you have no more to freak out about.

Thanks so much, ladies! Yeah, I felt like a bit of a muppet on the way home, but the tech was really understanding. "Of course you were worried," she said, "you've had your confidence knocked by the last two times." I didn't even have to ride the mighty dildo cam! She used the external scanner! Hoorah!

Also happy to discover that I'm two days AHEAD of where I thought I was. Strangely enough, this seems to validate my belief that you start counting period days from the first day of spotting. So, the EDD is March 8th. :)

Oh, Rockmama, you sound like such a mess in your last post! I'm so glad to hear everything turned out ok.

Hugs to you.

Oh, you poor thing, I am so relieved to hear that everything is thumping along, heatbeat-wise. I understand the terror--I hope it diminishes for you soon.

I'm really glad you were wrong. :-)
